The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time  by Mark Haddon was overall an interesting story. The plot took an insane turn and went places that never would have been expected. This novel also gives the reader an entirely new perspective of the world through eyes of a child with mental disabilities. We always judge from the outside, but never before have we taken a trip into their inner workings and really dug deeper. Mark Haddon definitely succeeds in helping us dig deeper into both Chris's mind, and our own minds and how we really do not know what other people may be going through.

Although, the story ends in a matter of short chapters. It ended up being very anti climactic for me, which made me very upset. When I read a novel for a long period of time, I expect to be dazzled by the time I finish, not just sitting there with my eyebrow raised. I would honestly say go for it if you have the spare time, but once the falling action hits it is nothing special. Although, the plot up until then is something to be excited about.
